Fox Custom Woodworks Handcrafted cabinetry and millwork — built for homes across the GTA and Southern Ontario. Est. 2008.

Fox Custom Woodworks is a family-owned cabinet and millwork shop based in Erin, Ontario. We've been building by hand since 2008 — kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins, mudrooms, home offices, closets, and one-of-a-kind pieces for homes across the GTA and Southern Ontario. Every project starts with a detailed line-by-line quote and full 3D drawings before anything moves to the shop. Nothing gets built until you've approved exactly how it will look. Our dedicated installer handles every job start to finish, and we stand behind our work long after we've left the site. The toe kick on this vanity is lit. Not a puck light stuck underneath after the fact — the LED is routed into the base, so the light reads as a line under the cabinet instead of a row of dots on the floor.

Rift cut white oak, inset face frame shaker fronts, custom stain matched to the homeowners' bedroom furniture. Built in Erin with . The vanity stands on furniture legs, which is what lets the floor run clean underneath and gives the light somewhere to go.

Built-in wardrobes for a primary bedroom in Erin, with . Sherwin-Williams Antler Velvet, inset doors, and decorative crown.

Birch ply interiors, because the inside of a cabinet should be worth opening. The LED is routed into the cabinets too — nothing surface mounted, nothing stuck on after.

The window bench is white oak, custom stained, built here in the shop.

Painted or wood for a bedroom built-in? We go back and forth on this one.

Rift cut white oak, and not a single visible fastener.

A primary bath vanity in Erin, built with . Inset face frame shaker fronts in rift cut white oak, with a custom stain we mixed to match the bedroom furniture.

The legs are the part people notice second. They're not applied trim; the vanity is built as furniture and stands on them, which is why the floor runs clean underneath.

The dogs gets a better entrance than most people do. 🐾

We built the lockers, the cabinetry and the V-groove paneling, all in Benjamin Moore Nantucket Grey — the paneling is the same colour as the boxes, so the whole bay reads as one piece instead of cabinets stuck to a wall.

The bench is a reclaimed live edge slab the homeowners supplied. We scribed it into the locker bay and set it so the live edge runs proud of the seat.

Laundry rooms don't get much attention. They probably should.

Sliding doors on both sides; close them and the washer, dryer and sink wall disappear.

Sweater drying racks pull out on the right, so knits dry flat instead of hanging over a door somewhere. Corian counter, folded linen storage above, full height cabinetry down both walls, and a place for everything in between.

Colour matched aluminum screen panels instead of glass to hide what's in the cabinet without closing it off completely, and the components behind them still get air.

Everything painted Benjamin Moore Iron Mountain, top to bottom, so the whole wall reads as one piece with Hopewell honey bronze bar pulls.

The fireplace was already there. We just built around it.

White on the uppers, charcoal below with royal gold hardware accents.
Countertop, waterfall island and full height backsplash are Calacatta Georgia quartz from Di Pietra Design.

The herringbone hood cover isn't ours, but it's the best thing in the room.

A charming bathroom in Erin that came together nicely.

The vanity is built by us, painted in Sherwin-Williams Dew Drop. We supplied the counter and backsplash in Caesarstone Alpine Mist, and the shower niche pieces came from the same slab so the stone carries through the room.

The V-groove wainscotting is ours too. We milled it and sent it out ready for paint.

Tom’s building a new porch post to match the customers existing ones. Same profiles, proportions and same species. When it’s finished and installed; you’ll never be able to tell.
