Alberta Concrete Pumping Ltd. is an Edmonton based concrete construction company. We are currently looking for Concrete Pump Operators to join our team. Ideally, we are looking for individuals with at least one year of concrete pumping experience, however we are willing to provide training for those without experience but must hold a valid Class 3 or Class 1 license with air brake.
Responsibilities and Duties:
-Operate concrete pump truck
-Be safety orientated
-Clean and maintain pump trucks
-Work with dispatch personnel to efficiently complete daily project schedule
-Use maps and other trip planning aids
Qualifications and Skills:
-Preferably at least one year of experience with concrete boom pumps and line pumps for residential, commercial, civil, and industrial projects. Willing to train
-Valid driver’s license, Class 1 or 3 with air brakes, and a satisfactory driving abstract
-Must be able to work flexible hours, with varying start and finish times, including weekend shifts
-Must be mentally alert, energetic, and fit
-Team player
Physical Demands:
-Operators are frequently required to stand, walk, sit through out the scheduled day.
-Operators may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
-Operators must demonstrate awareness of their surroundings as they will be working around large construction equipment.
