PSA :

When picking your roofing company (or any other contractors), always read reviews, but also upon doing that make sure to really pay attention
Marketers reach out to companies like ours 10 to 20 times a day, constantly offering to Doctor up good reviews .

So if a company has too many to be true,Then they are probably not.

A good way to tell Is to click on the profiles doing the reviewing and if it says that they also have done 5000 other reviews, click and read some of them , or that if they have zero posts on social media or if they are not Edmonton based, chances are they are a bot, or a paid marketing group. With today’s market and AI possibilities always be hypervigilant.

And again never offer any payments upfront, a reputable contractor will never ask for any upfront money and unless they have a specific license, they can also not require a deposit.

As well as check for WCB coverage and liability insurance, and ask how long their business number NOT trade name have been operational.

If you have elders in your life who own homes, also make sure you’re checking in with them, and offering support if they need to pick a contractor and offer to help them through the process, too many of our elders are getting taken advantage of by seedy companies.

Oh my goodness, I’m absolutely mortified,
In scheduling tomorrow mornings text message replies for any service calls we had missed , I seem to have hit an apple glitch and sent out multiple text replies ….
At 1:45am 🙈

I am so very sorry to anybody who I have woken up, startled, or alarmed !

We definitely don’t usually do business at 1:45 in the morning,

But we are family owned and tonight I’m up with a sick kid so I was utilizing this extra awake time to play work catch-up after this weeks crazy storm rush !
