Weeping tile backflow valve removal. New sump pit and battery backup combo installed in its place. If the brass flap is stuck and the weeping tile can not drain out hydrostatic pressure will flood the basement. Sometimes they are not serviceable so we remove them and either replace it or put in a new sump pit there.

Here we are showing a weeping tile backflow valve in Edmonton.

In some cases we have to just open this up and free up the brass flap to allow the storm water to flow into the sanitary sewer again so the flooding will stop and reduce the hydrostatic pressure built up around the foundation.

We've been saving basements from flooding since 2009 in Edmonton and the surrounding communities.
