Supporting projects that create lasting community impact extends beyond the jobsite.

At this year’s Nourish Gala, we joined community partners in supporting the Strathcona Food Bank and the future Nourish Centre—a permanent facility being constructed by Clark Builders to improve safety, increase efficiency, and expand services to meet urgent community needs.

As construction continues, key milestones have already been reached on the project, including the completion of structural steel and metal deck installation.

It was an inspiring evening surrounded by individuals and organizations committed to strengthening our communities and supporting those who need it most.

The YCE Multiplex team celebrated a major milestone with the installation of the final structural steel member.

To mark the occasion, team members and project partners signed the final steel beam—recognizing the collaboration and hard work behind this achievement.

The renovation and expansion will bring new and enhanced amenities to the community, including a modern aquatic facility, an NHL-sized ice arena, upgrades to Centennial Arena, a dedicated curling rink, and a new lobby and gymnasium with an elevated walking track.

Delivered in partnership with the Town of Edson and Yellowhead County, this project highlights a shared commitment to creating an inclusive space where residents of all ages can gather, play, and stay active.

Major milestones reached in Alberta on the Red Deer Regional Hospital.

Earlier this month, the project team reached several key milestones, including pouring more than 1,090 m³ of concrete in a single week.

Key milestones included completing the ninth slab section, bringing that scope to two-thirds complete; pouring the final deep foundation element; and completing the tenth slab section along with the project’s first suspended slab.

The May 14 suspended slab also marked the project’s 149th concrete pour. To date, more than 11,753 m³ of concrete has been placed toward the project’s total of 30,000 m³.

These achievements reflect the strong dedication and coordination of our project team and trade partners. Thank you to everyone contributing to the continued momentum on this important healthcare infrastructure project for Red Deer and central Alberta.

Ground has officially broken on two new CASA Mental Health centres in Calgary and Fort McMurray, the first of four being delivered as part of CASA’s Capital Expansion across Alberta.

CASA Mental Health plays a vital role in supporting children, youth, and families through holistic, culturally safe mental health care. Each centre is being shaped through trauma-informed design and input from patients, families, and care providers—ensuring the spaces reflect the needs of those who will use them.

For Clark Builders, this project is especially meaningful. Our relationship with CASA began with the delivery of the CASA Centre in Edmonton in 2016, and we are honoured to continue that journey through this next phase of growth.

Delivered through an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) approach, the project brings CASA, the design team, trade partners, and Clark Builders together with a shared commitment to collaboration, trust, and community impact.

Recently, some of our teammates hit the ice in Edmonton for the Hockey Helps the Homeless tournament.

The team battled hard, finishing with 1 win in 3 games, but more importantly, stayed injury-free and raised an incredible $16,650 in support of a great cause. In total, the tournament raised $310,000 for local organizations working to end homelessness, including The Mustard Seed, Kids Kottage, and Jasper Place Wellness Centre.

A highlight of the day was skating alongside former NHLer Matt Fraser, and facing off against former NHL player and current Edmonton Oilers scout, Zack Kassian.

Clark Builders was proud to sponsor the May 1 event, which made a meaningful impact in the community.

A big shoutout to Hockey Helps the Homeless Edmonton and to everyone who participated and supported the team’s fundraising efforts.
