It’s almost time for the Inaugural Clark Builders Fort McMurray Golf Tournament in support of CASA Mental Health!

On Thursday, September 17, we’ll be hosting the fundraiser in support of CASA Mental Health at Miskanaw Golf Club in Fort McMurray.

CASA provides vital mental health programs and services for children, youth, and families across Alberta. This event is an opportunity to bring our industry and community together, enjoy a great afternoon of golf, and help support their important work.

There are still opportunities to get involved through golf registration and hole activation sponsorships. Whether you join us on the course, sponsor the event, or help spread the word, your support will contribute directly to CASA’s child and adolescent mental health programs.

Yesterday, our team joined the Maskwacis Youth Expo, hosted by the Maskwacis Employment Center, as a sponsor and exhibitor. At our booth, our team connected with youth to share insights into the construction industry and explore the many career pathways it can offer.

Building stronger communities goes beyond the jobsite.

Recently, members of our team volunteered at the Little Warriors Be Brave Ranch, spending the day cleaning cabins and helping with light property maintenance. We were also happy to cook and provide lunch for the amazing staff.

The Be Brave Ranch is the first long-term treatment centre in Canada focused on helping children who have experienced sexual abuse. Through trauma-informed treatment, education, and prevention programs, Little Warriors creates opportunities for healing, hope, and brighter futures.

Our own Jay Harding, Vice President, Preconstruction, is taking on one of the world's toughest endurance rides—the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge.

Over the next 12 days, Jay will ride more than 17,700 kilometres across the 48 contiguous U.S. states and back, navigating without GPS, avoiding major highways, and relying on resilience, determination, and purpose to reach the finish.

More importantly, Jay is riding in support of Spirit North, a Canadian organization that helps empower Indigenous youth through sport and play while building confidence, resilience, and stronger communities.
