Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pest & Wildlife Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, enjoy helping people, and be comfortable working independently.
As a technician, you will identify pest issues, implement treatment plans, perform wildlife prevention/exclusion work, and provide excellent customer service to residential and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties
Identify pest and wildlife issues and recommend solutions
Develop and implement customized treatment plans
Safely apply pesticides and treatments according to regulations and company protocols
Perform wildlife prevention and exclusion work when required
Educate clients on prevention strategies and maintenance recommendations
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Stay current with industry regulations, pest control methods, and safety procedures
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous pest control or related experience preferred but not required
Pest control certification is an asset
Alberta Applicator License is an asset
Strong customer service and communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to work outdoors and occasionally on ladders or roofs
Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary: $45,000–$65,000 per year
