🏠 Year-Round | Salary-Based Independent Contractor Position
ABCAN EXTERIORS LTD. is looking for an experienced Exterior Site Supervisor to join our team!
We are looking for someone who knows the exterior construction industry inside and out — someone who can confidently manage crews and projects, maintain quality standards, communicate professionally with clients and contractors, AND isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty when needed.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
• Supervising residential & commercial exterior projects
• Performing regular quality-control inspections
• Ensuring siding, roofing and exterior installations meet manufacturer specifications and industry standards
• Coordinating subcontractor crews and keeping projects organized and on schedule
• Communicating with homeowners, general contractors, suppliers, project managers and office staff
• Preparing deficiency reports, progress updates and site documentation
• Identifying problems early and resolving them before they cause delays
• Ensuring deficiencies are corrected promptly
• Completing minor service calls, repairs, warranty work and installation corrections when required
• Picking up and delivering materials when needed
• Maintaining safe, clean and professional job sites
• Providing regular project updates to management
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
✅ Minimum 5 years of roofing, siding and exterior construction experience
✅ Strong supervisory and leadership experience
✅ Excellent knowledge of exterior installation and proper construction practices
✅ Strong communication and organizational skills
✅ Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
✅ Reliable, professional and detail-oriented
✅ Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
This is a year-round, salary-based independent contractor position and is not an employee position. The successful contractor is responsible for their own income taxes, CPP contributions and other applicable self-employment remittances.
