2026 Water Works Ponds Parade of Ponds Tour | Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26, 2026

Now celebrating over two decades of building breathtaking water features, this annual
self-guided tour showcases some of Alberta’s most beautiful water gardens built by
Water Works Ponds — and supports a truly meaningful cause.

🌊 What to Expect

This year’s tour will feature residential and commercial water gardens across Edmonton
and surrounding communities. From peaceful backyard retreats to stunning large-scale
aquatic landscapes, each location highlights the craftsmanship, artistry, and sustainable
design that define Water Works Ponds.

Tour Hours (Rain or Shine):
Saturday, July 25: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, July 26: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

🎟 Tickets: $10 per person

Enjoy a few stream and waterfall rebuilds completed last season! Sometimes, a water feature just needs a little refresh, or maybe there are some water loss issues that can only be remedied through a complete overhaul of the system. For these examples, the customers were all looking for a bit more scale to add to their features, seeking extra sound and more action to watch the water course its way into their respective ponds. Another one of our glass waterwall projects. Our client decided partway through their house build that they wanted one so we had to act fast in order to show-horn it in but made it happen. It works really well dividing the space but not feel you’re loosing space.

As our second rebuild of the season, this was also one of our more complex and larger-scaled projects of the year. The client’s one request was to make their backyard feel like a piece of the mountains had been brought to their property. We utilized our “kootenay” boulders to create terraced pockets that they could landscape, while retaining height for our waterfalls and stream to meander about 30 feet, before falling into the pond, where their koi dart through the water and under the final waterfall. The client had a memorial bench that we were able to place in the middle of the area, and it truly has to be viewed in person to enjoy the experience that this feature offers.
