Our team recently completed a boundary and lagoon topographic survey in the Town of Veteran.

Pictured against the prairie landscape is a Canadian Base Net (CBN) pillar, a permanent monument within Alberta’s geodetic control network. These monuments provide established reference points that support the precision and reliability essential to land surveying, mapping, and geospatial data collection.

The View: 10/10. The Terrain: Character-building.

Our crew was in Frog Lake completing line locates to accurately identify underground infrastructure while navigating rugged terrain, dense vegetation, and the occasional creek along the way. It may have involved a little more hiking than usual, but with views like these, we’re not complaining.
