🏗️ We built Canada's largest Museum of Illusions.

The Museum of Illusions at West Edmonton Mall is the biggest location in the country and the first in Western Canada. Its grand opening was featured on CTV News back in May, and we're proud to have been the team behind the build.

A project like this is different from a typical retail space. Every room is designed to trick perception, so walls, floors, angles, and lighting had to be built with exact precision. A few inches off and the illusion doesn't work.

We're proud of how this one turned out. Go see the finished result in person and tag us in your photos. 📸

📺 We made the news!

TBS Construction is proud to have been part of bringing the Museum of Illusions to West Edmonton Mall. Featured on CTV News, this groundbreaking project is now officially open and it's turning heads across the city.

This wasn't your typical tenant improvement. We built 80 interactive exhibits including an infinity room, spinning room, and spaces that completely challenge depth and height perception. Every element required precision construction to create these mind-bending illusions while ensuring structural integrity and visitor safety.

The result? Western Canada's first Museum of Illusions and the biggest location in the entire country, right here in Edmonton.

From concept to CTV coverage, we're honored to have constructed a space that brings wonder and amazement to our community.

🔨 Fresh-baked builds at West Edmonton Mall!

TBS Construction is proud to have delivered this tenant improvement for Great North Cookie Co., creating a warm, inviting space where the aroma of freshly baked cookies draws customers in.

This specialty food build required specific technical elements: commercial baking equipment integration, proper ventilation systems for ovens and production areas, food-safe finishes and surfaces, and a layout that balances efficient production with an open, welcoming customer experience.

We know that cookie shops need to showcase the baking process while maintaining strict health standards and operational flow. Our team designed and built a space that lets Great North Cookie Co. do what they do best: serve incredible cookies to hungry mall shoppers.

Another sweet project completed. 🏗️

TBS Construction completed this high-energy build for Real Fruit Bubble Tea, transforming a food court space into a vibrant, efficient operation ready to serve hundreds of customers daily.

This project required specialized expertise: commercial kitchen plumbing and drainage systems, heavy-duty electrical for refrigeration and equipment, durable, easy-to-clean surfaces that withstand constant use, and maximizing counter space in a compact footprint for optimal workflow.

Food court builds come with unique challenges: tight spaces, strict health code requirements, and coordinating around existing tenants and peak mall hours. Our experience in high-traffic food service environments means we know how to deliver fast without compromising quality.

TBS Construction is proud to have completed this tenant improvement for Wow Beauty, creating a polished retail environment that showcases their products beautifully.

This build required attention to detail: custom shelving and display units, optimal lighting to enhance product presentation, clean lines and modern finishes, and a layout that encourages browsing while maintaining an open, inviting atmosphere.

We understand that beauty retail spaces need to be both functional and visually stunning. Our team delivered a space where customers can explore and experience products in a setting that reflects the brand's quality and style.

Another successful West Edmonton Mall partnership in the books. 🏗️
