Taking flooring samples home? Here are a few things we always recommend before making your final decision!
1️⃣ Look at your sample in multiple rooms. Natural light, lamps, pot lights, and even shadows can completely change how a floor looks throughout your home.
2️⃣ Check it at different times of day. Morning light vs evening light can bring out totally different tones and undertones in your flooring.
3️⃣ Place it beside your furniture, cabinets & paint colors. What looks perfect in a showroom can feel very different once it’s beside the finishes already in your space.
4️⃣ Live with it for a couple days. Move it around, walk by it often, and see how it feels in your everyday life. Flooring is a big investment, you want to love it long term, not just in the moment.
