Not all window condensation means there’s a problem with your windows.

When warm, humid indoor air meets cold glass, moisture can form on the surface. Cooking, showers, and high indoor humidity can all contribute to condensation — and in many cases, reducing humidity and improving airflow can help.

But there’s one important thing to check: where is the moisture?

If you can wipe the moisture away from the surface of the glass, it’s likely surface condensation. But if the fog or moisture is trapped between the panes and can’t be wiped away, it may indicate a failed window seal.

That’s when your windows may need more than a quick fix.

Some homes call for more than standard design choices — and this recent project is a perfect example.

For this beautiful log home, every detail was carefully selected to complement its natural character. The new windows feature rich green exteriors, with woodgrain finishes inside to complement the warmth of the log interior.

Matching green Smart Board finishing on the exterior brings everything together, while the doors continue the same thoughtful design. A complementary green entry door ties into the window colour, and the wood-look fiberglass front door completes the home’s natural aesthetic.

And of course, no project is complete without a final inspection.
