Tomorrow marks World Mental Health Day, an opportunity to meaningfully engage with people with lived experience of mental health conditions and recognize their knowledge as a vital form of expertise.

Lived experience is what someone has experienced themselves, especially when it gives the individual knowledge or understanding that people who have only heard or learnt about such experiences do not have.

On this World Mental Health Day, let us move from listening to action– and build mental health systems with people with lived experience, not merely for them.

Today is an important day to acknowledge and honour the First Nations, Inuit and Metis people who have been and continue to be affected by the legacy of residential schools: for those who have survived, and those who never made it home. Let us take the time to learn and reflect on the history and impact of residential schools as we work toward reconciliation.

Gear up for our upcoming Leadership Training Program, starting on October 14, 2026.

This practical, instructor-led course will equip you with essential leadership skills to advance your career. Participants will explore modern leadership approaches tailored to the construction environment, learn how to leverage their field experience in new leadership responsibilities, and develop practical strategies for improving communication, productivity, documentation, and managing change. The program also introduces key project delivery concepts and briefly highlights Lean Construction principles that support improved workflow and reduced waste.
