🏗️ Project Update - Yellowhead Trail Freeway Conversion | 127 Street Bridge – Deck Slab

Another milestone for our team on the Yellowhead Trail Freeway Conversion, a $1+ billion City of Edmonton project. Our team has completed the installation of approximately 80 tonnes of stainless steel reinforcing for the 127 Street Bridge deck slab. 💪

Great work by everyone involved. We look forward to sharing more updates as the project moves forward!

Lunch delivery day! 🥪🚧
We recently had the chance to get out of the office and deliver lunch to our crews working across several of our project sites. It’s always great to spend some time in the field, connect with our teams, and show a little appreciation for the hard work they put in every day. A big thank you to everyone in the field for everything you do to keep our projects moving forward. We hope you enjoyed lunch! 👏

Steel Spotlight: Westbank's Butterfly

Some job sites come with a view... and then there's the Butterfly.

Rising 57 storeys above Vancouver's West End, this striking luxury tower stands as one of the city's most recognizable additions to the skyline. A&H Vancouver was proud to be part of the project from the ground up, completing our final scopes two years ago.

Looking back, it's hard to beat the views our crews had while helping bring this iconic 6,000-metric-ton structure to life.

We're throwing it back to the end of the school year when we celebrated the students and staff at Gold Bar School with a visit from the ice cream truck.

Through our Adopt-a-School partnership, we believe that investing in our community means investing in the next generation. It's a privilege to support Gold Bar School, and we're grateful for the relationships we've built throughout the year.

We can't wait to continue our partnership by uplifting students, supporting staff, and creating new opportunities together when everyone returns this September. 💙

🏆 From opening day at the PNE to industry recognition.
The Freedom Mobile Arch at the PNE has been honoured with a 2026 VRCA Awards of Excellence Silver Award. Selected as one of the award recipients from 114 projects representing more than $4.6 billion in construction value, this recognition reflects the collaboration, innovation, and craftsmanship that brought one of British Columbia's newest landmark structures to life.
It is rewarding to see a project that now welcomes thousands of visitors to the PNE receive this level of industry recognition. Congratulations to our project partners and everyone whose hard work made this achievement possible.
We would also like to congratulate all of the 2026 VRCA Silver Awards Winners. We are proud to be recognized alongside many outstanding projects and look forward to celebrating together at the VRCA Awards of Excellence Gala this October.

☀️Summer celebrations looked a little different in Edmonton and Vancouver, but they shared the same purpose: bringing our people together. 👏
In Edmonton, we enjoyed an office BBQ, while our Vancouver team welcomed families for a summer BBQ. Both events were a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, connect with colleagues and loved ones, and celebrate the incredible people who make A&H Steel what it is. A big thank you to our Social Committees for organizing these events and helping bring our people together.

🤝For the past 5 years, A&H Steel has been proud to support Harvest Project, through food drives, cash donations, and now, for the 3rd year running, our spring clothing drive. Harvest Project has been serving the North Shore since 1993, offering client coaching, a rent bank, grocery support, and clothing assistance to neighbours facing job loss, illness, and the threat of poverty. Their motto says it best: "Extending a hand up, not a hand out." Proud to help extend that hand.
