Our Red Deer team helped revitalize the Innisfail Pool, transforming this community hub into a more durable and welcoming space. Through a progressive design‑build approach, the existing structure was preserved while nearly every component was upgraded, including the building envelope, mechanical and electrical systems, pool deck, and interior spaces.

Built with local trade participation and collaboration at every turn, this renewed facility will continue to serve the Innisfail community for decades to come.

We asked Steve to walk us through his morning routine as a General Foreman.

Starting the day bright and early by opening the site, coordinating crews, and connecting with subcontractors, every step sets the tone for a productive day.

But beyond keeping work moving, safety is always top of mind. It's what drives the decisions he makes and ensures everyone gets home safely at the end of the day.

Our Toronto team spent the day on the green at Cardinal Golf Complex for the Chandos Annual Charity Golf Tournament.

This year's Golfing Fore a Cause event raised money for the Bryan & Amanda Bickell Foundation, supporting individuals and families living with multiple sclerosis (MS). After former NHL player Bryan Bickell was diagnosed with MS, the foundation set out to raise awareness, support families, and work toward creating Bickell's Point, a lakeside restorative retreat for families navigating the challenges of the condition. Golfers even had the chance to try to out-drive Bryan himself, three Stanley Cup rings and all.

A day like this doesn't happen without the people behind it. Thank you to our staff, volunteers, and major sponsors for making it such a success: CLC Infrastructure, Groupe AGF Inc., Clane Restorations, Cooper Equipment Rentals, Énska Advisors, Kelson, Summit Access Solutions, ProTeck Roofing, United Rentals, and Page Flooring.

Our Kelowna team traded office chairs for garden gloves, spending the morning pulling w**ds at Helen's Acres Community Farm. The local 24-acre farm works with volunteers to plant, w**d, and harvest fresh produce, all donated to social agencies helping those facing food insecurity across the Okanagan community.

The team wrapped up the day with a well-earned ride on the Smile Cycle, stopping by a few local breweries along the way. It was a great reminder that team building and giving back can go hand in hand.

From warehouse to workspace, our Calgary team transformed an existing facility into a modern operations hub supporting ATM refurbishment and storage.

The project included upgrades across both office and warehouse areas, from new interior finishes and mechanical systems to specialized features like a spray booth and new racking systems.

Delivered on an accelerated timeline within a partially occupied industrial complex, this project highlights the importance of coordination, flexibility, and adapting to evolving project needs.

Our Edmonton team laced up their sneakers and hit the pavement for the Servus Edmonton Marathon, with a purpose that went beyond the finish line.

Through Chandos Gives, our year-round initiative to support the communities we build in, Chandos matched each participant's registration fee. All funds went directly to Edmonton's local charities of choice: Edmonton's Food Bank, Edmonton Humane Society, and the Bridge Healing Program with The Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation.

Every step taken made a real difference in the community. Way to go, team!

The Red Deer Water Treatment Plant Residuals Management Facility improves how the water treatment plant manages waste before it reaches the river, lowering turbidity, and protecting fish habitat nearby. Getting there wasn't easy. The civil team worked inside a cofferdam, monitoring water levels daily and coordinating closely with Fisheries and Oceans Canada to keep the work safe throughout construction.

The facility also reduces energy use by nearly a quarter compared to industry norms and reused materials from the original building rather than sending them to landfill.

Colton is on-site at the Strathcona Indoor Fieldhouse Project, sharing what it takes to work safely every day. While safety often brings to mind procedures and equipment, it's also about people.

Sometimes the most important part of keeping a site safe is taking the time to mentor a new teammate, ensuring they have the knowledge and confidence to do their job. Building a strong safety culture starts with looking out for one another and that's how .
