Now here is where it gets confusing; It's actually very easy to get an energy star qualified window. Almost all windows manufactured in Canada are. Where the ratings come in handy, are what's called "energy rating" number. This is a number that is given from 1-50 that combines U-value and solar heat gain numbers into an easy to follow score. You can look up any manufacture on energuide website and see for yourself if "we have the best product for the best price." There is also a direct link to these number by clicking here. We don't pretend to be the lowest price in town, but we do believe that we offer the best value for your money, and we think you will too.

Did you know that not all triple pane glass is created equal?

At Sunview, our manufacture uses a full 1 3/8" sealed unit on Canadian product and up to 2" on our European product. This is the largest available in the industry and is one of the contributing factor to why our energuide rating is one of the highest in the country. A thicker sealed unit means that you have more insulating space between each pane, giving you the most out of a triple pane upgrade.
