We are on the hunt for a self-motivated individual who has computer and woodshop skills.
The candidate requires experience with machines and tools as it is the most important qualification - 5 yrs in a shop environment would be preferred. Computer skills in drafting are also required. Machine programming can be taught to someone with good general software knowledge, but it is beyond basic Microsoft office skills.
Additional value will be placed on the ability to take over as the manager: fielding customer calls, estimating, and running the business, but primarily we need a technician first.
There is an opportunity to have a flexible schedule, or part-time
Key duties
- Vector drawings ( autocad or other ) tool path programming
- CNC router operation
- Post – production: sanding , spray booth painting , some assembly
- Pre-production : purchase materials , machine/shop maintenance

Additional duties ( May not necessarily apply )
- Field customer calls
- Execute design requests
- Estimate projects
- administration
