Here is an invitation to all Municipalities across the World on 3 very important components in mitigating global warming and climate change. Kindly personally message me to learn more.
1. Fresh Water from the Discharged Brine of Desalination Plants:
o Existing Reverse-Osmosis (RO) Plants have become more efficient over time. However, their efficiency is limited and diminishes over time. RO Desalination Plants produce higher TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) brine that is more difficult to be treated by the RO membrane
o Typically, the brine gets discharged back into the sea, which damages the local ecology and builds up a higher concentration of salts in the water supply itself, thus further diminishing the RO plant efficiency over time
o GEI Solution can add a supplementary plant that occupies a small physical footprint but is able to further purify water in greater efficiency than a thermal or an RO Plant that is combined with a Ultra-Filtration/Micro-Filtration/Nano-Filtration processes
o GEI can also provide a Zero-Liquid Discharge (ZLD) solution, where the salts are crystallized, and ultrapure water (UPW) is separated
2. Solvent Extraction and High-Value Resource Recovery from Industrial Wastewater:
o GEI’s customized solution can extract and recover premium solvents back from wastewater at near virgin-grade quality (up to 99.9% purity) without using high-temperature processes
o For example, costly solvents are used by manufacturing companies of paints and inks (printing). Those solvents get wastefully disposed in manners that are damaging to the environment and are costly in terms of logistics and purchases of fresh supply of solvents
o GEI plant can even break and separate azeotropic mixtures at lower temperatures where thermal distillation and dehydration methods fail or are highly inefficient
o GEI solution can recover specific solutes/solvents from the wastewater, averting production of hazardous waste and providing twofold economic benefits:
§ logistical savings without the need of harmful wastewater disposal, and:
§ savings from recovering solvents instead of buying fresh supplies
3. Extraction of Sugars and Ethanol from Municipal Solid Waste:
o GEI’s solution can extract valuables out of the MSW from landfills and dumpsites, including sugars and ethanol
o GEI’s solution is more feasible and environmentally friendly as compared to other options
