PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT! Applications to our Introduction to Heavy Equipment Operating program are now open!

Tuition is funded by BFI Constructors Ltd.
and the Government of Alberta.

This program includes 3 weeks of classroom learning and will provide you with the safety certifications and workplace best practices to begin a career as a Heavy Equipment Operator.

Alberta residents are eligible to apply. Fly-in-fly-out from Edmonton and Calgary is available with camp accommodations. Busses will be provided from Fort McMurray.

Do you like to solve problems and work with your hands? Have you considered a career as a Heavy Equipment Technician (HET)?

Applications are now open in Fort McMurray for the Pre-Apprenticeship Heavy Equipment Technician program. This 4-week program offers the essential safety certification, hands-on skills, and workplace awareness to become a 1st year apprentice HET or Mechanic Helper.

Training will take place at Keyano College from September 11 - October 6, 2023.
