Friendly reminder with all this rain:

Take 2 minutes and check that your sump pump is working properly. I've been seeing quite a few failed pumps lately, and catching a problem now is a lot cheaper than dealing with a flooded basement later.

If your sump pump is running constantly, making unusual noises, cycling irregularly, or not turning on at all, it may be time to have it looked at.
