**2026 EVENT UPDATE — LEAGUES OF VOTANN**
As we prepare for the fourth annual 40 Hours of 40K fundraising event, November 6–8, we have an important update regarding this year's Leagues of Votann army.
Following discussions with Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC), we've learned that our organization is currently limited to a smaller raffle licence category. Unfortunately, the value of our professionally painted Leagues of Votann army exceeds the prize limits permitted under that licence.
**So, what does that mean for the army?**
The good news is that the army isn't going anywhere!
Our incredible contributing artists have invested countless hours bringing this collection to life, and we're committed to ensuring their work continues to support our mission of raising awareness and funds for men's mental health and su***de prevention.
We're now exploring an alternative fundraising format that will give supporters an opportunity to acquire the complete army while remaining compliant with provincial requirements. We'll share those details as soon as they're finalized.
**What about the event?**
40 Hours of 40K is still happening November 6–8, 2026, at the Veterans Association Food Bank in Edmonton!
Our tabletop gaming event, community fundraising activities and food drive are moving forward. We're also restructuring our smaller prize draws to meet the applicable licensing requirements.
To our artists, sponsors, partners and everyone who has supported this year's event: thank you for your patience and continued support as we work through these changes.
The mission hasn't changed. The event hasn't changed. We're simply adapting how we raise funds.
