Thinking about purchasing vinyl fencing? If you’re hiring a contractor, be sure to ask this critical questions:

Do they drill post holes and cement in the vinyl post or use a pipe and collar system where a 1-7/8” or 2-3/8” pipe is driven into the ground?

Although the pipe and collar system is a lot less labour intensive the collars will not stand up to our Canadian climate❄️🥶

Although your fence will not fall over once the collars break, it will not be straight which is NOT ideal!

We at Vinyl Impressions recommend drilling holes and cementing the vinyl post into the ground and your fence will stay straight and true for many, many years to come!!!
