Chalk sign advertisement by this customer’s grandchildren! She loves her new brickwork, dry riverbed, and yard, but most of all she loves her new French drain and property dividing retaining wall because now all the water that used to go into her basement goes straight to the street where it belongs. Water management is most important when it comes to landscaping, but making it look great is a close second :)

This customer was so taken aback by what we uncovered in the back portion of her yard that she was moved to years. After her husband died this part of her yard became totally overgrown, and she had forgotten all the work her husband did. We were paid to just clear out all the trees and bushes and lay fabric and bark mulch, but then went a little further when we realized there was so much to work with. It was hard for us to hold back the tears as well tbh

We fixed this customer’s existing brick patios and built a path connecting them. We also built three planter boxes (“drink height” lol) and installed landscape fabric, bark chips and sod. This customer was so happy with our work they surprised us with a $500 tip and a bottle of wine 😭. We never expect that kind of generosity but appreciated it very much nonetheless :)
