Hey everyone, freezeing rain is back with a vengince so while us private contractors and the city work to get conditions safe here a few tips to keep those feet on the ground and not in the air. 1: WADDLE, take short small steps, penguins know there stuff so waddling around as silly as it sounds works! 2: if you can wear ice cleats 3: never underestimate ice, I wear full on spikes and even I have slipped 4: even if rock or sand is applied it can still be slippery in some cases applications of sand, rock, or icemelt can make surface conditionseven worse to walk on. Most importantly stay safe and have a great day!!!!!!!

One of the best parts of job, especially around Christmas is while working you get to really see the magic that comes around this time of year, weather it's seeing people come together to get somebody out a ditch, a client sharing a christmas card and conversation, to working late at night and seeing all these happy famlys having Christmas dinner, to hearing children scream "grandma, grandpa!" As famly comes over, you can't deny there's a majic that comes with the season. Even as I work under a stary night humbing Christmas carols in the frigid cold I can't help but feel warm inside. So I just wanted to say MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY HOLDAYS, AND A VERY VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!
