A kitchen with a little something hidden behind the scenes.

The main space was designed to feel warm, open, and beautifully connected to the rest of the home, with rich cabinetry, brass details, and stone carried from the counters up the hood for a seamless, architectural look. The stonework becomes a true focal point, adding movement and depth while keeping the overall design calm and refined.

Behind the cabinet doors, a hidden spice kitchen adds another layer of function. It gives the homeowners a separate space for everyday cooking, prep, and cleanup, while allowing the main kitchen to stay open, polished, and ready for gathering.

Thoughtful design is not just about what you see first. It is also about the spaces that quietly make life easier.

Warm woods + cool greys is one of our favourite ways to create a kitchen that feels both modern and inviting.

Here, we paired a walnut cabinet wall with sleek grey cabinetry to keep the space calm and clean, then tied it all together with a marble-look island surface that adds movement and softness. The oversized pendant lights act like sculpture and give the whole room a polished, architectural feel, while the waterfall-style island edge and streamlined seating keep it feeling light and open.

It’s a mix of textures and tones that feels intentional from every angle.
