On April 15th Skocdopole Construction held their Annual Safety Stand Down to kick off the Spring/Summer work season at our local Community Hall. We had a great turnout this year along with a guest speaker from one of our long time customers. It’s great to have everyone participate as safety is everyone’s responsibility. Safety isn’t just a code, it’s a culture. At Skocdopole Construction, Safety is always our top priority. We want all our employees to make it home safe to their families each and every day! 🦺 ⛑️

Today we recognized a long term employee that put his coveralls on for the last time. Congratulations on your Retirement Loren Henneigh after being with our company for 30 years. Loren started out with the company in field operations driving truck and operating equipment later moving into the shop and apprenticing to be Heavy Duty Mechanic. Loren has always been very meticulous with everything he does and whenever a piece of equipment or truck left the shop you knew it was fixed and fixed right. Thank you for your commitment to our company. You have been an asset to our business and our past success. We wish you all the best!

One of our crews hard at work plowing in 6” PE for a long time gas utility customer in the Morinville area. It has been a challenge this year to get this work done with all the rain they have received in the area but our crews will keep moving forward and persevere!

Another Successful BBQ to show appreciation to our Emplyoyees, Customer and Client and Co-Subcontractors on the Sharp Hills Wind Project. Thanks to our employees and volunteers for setting up and putting on the BBQ feeding 300+ people on-site!

Also a huge thank you to our Employees for all their hard work out in the field and to our customer Borea Construction and the Client EDP Renewables for entrusting Skocdopole Construction to help complete this project. Keep up the good work!
