Big News! We've Changed Our Name.

Over the past several months, many of you have come to know us as Island Boiler & Hot Water.

As our company has grown, so has the type of work we're being asked to do.

While boilers and hot water systems remain a core part of what we do, our expertise has always gone much further—heating, cooling, refrigeration, gas fitting, commercial HVAC, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and helping contractors with specialized support and digital systems.

We realized our old name no longer represented everything we offer.

That's why we've rebranded to Right Call Mechanical Inc.

Our name has changed, but our commitment hasn't.

Hey everyone—just wanted to introduce myself properly.

My name’s AJ, I’m local here in the Cowichan Valley. I work on home heating and hot water systems—things like tanks, boilers, furnaces, and heat pumps.

I’ve been in the trades a long time (gas fitting, refrigeration, plumbing), and something I’ve been seeing more and more lately…

A lot of homeowners are being told they need to replace everything.

Sometimes that’s true—but a lot of the time, it’s not.

There are plenty of systems—whether it’s a furnace, hot water tank, or even a heat pump—that can still be:
