Sweet Corn is ready!

We grow gourmet sweet corn called Fantastic XR.
It's an enhanced supersweet hybrid with 100 per cent supersweet kernels. Conventional breeding techniques have provided true corn flavour tenderness with unbelievable sweetness and fantastic holding qualities. They contain up to twice the amount of sugar as regular varieties, and the sugar to starch conversion occurs at a much slower rate allowing it to be harvested and stored over a longer period of time.

We look forward to seeing you this season!

Crock-Pot Freezer Meals Round 3

If you haven't noticed yet, most of the meals have chicken as the protein, and all of these are chicken too! I find them easier to throw together, and we're honestly not great at incorporating chicken evenly into our protein rotation, so this helps us.

This is it for freezer meals. I hope you enjoy them!

Freezer Meals Round 2

All of these meals have 1 extra step I feel, so I grouped them all together. I cut the raw meat, make the sauces and cook whatever is needed one evening and throw them together the next. Sometimes it takes days to get them together, but I know I'll be thanking myself mid summer haha

Freezer Meal Round 1

I have a total of 14 freezer meal recipes to share. While some of you may like tackling them all at once, that seems extremely daunting to me haha so I have split them into 3 rounds. Let me know if you'd like to do them all at once, and maybe I can share a bonus grocery list with the last round 🤔

At this time in our lives, our family of four (2 boys age 5 and 3) doesn't eat much food. For all of the above recipes, I have split them into 2 meals, giving a total of 10 meals from this round!

I work away at these in small pockets of time. One evening I'll make the meatballs, the next evening I'll make sauces and the last evening I'll put them together. That's just what works for me, you do what works best for you! In the end, I just hope this makes the coming weeks easier!
