To my dear customers—past, present, and those still to come,

For twenty blessed years I have been welcomed into your cottages,

those quiet sentinels of pine and stone that stand watch over these lakes.

What an honour it has been to help preserve them,
to mend and strengthen so they may be passed,
intact and loved, to the generations who will one day sit on these same docks
and listen to the loons.

The air is already sharpening.
Soon the first soft snows will settle across Dorset,

and the woods will fall quiet under winter’s blanket.

Now is the time for indoor work—
the projects that keep a cottage warm and ready
while the world outside sleeps.
Winter bookings are filling.

And for everything that still needs doing outdoors—
before the snow flies and the ground locks hard—
please reach out soon.
I am already booking outdoor work for next spring.
Spots fill quickly in this little corner of Muskoka.

A simple call today can have it looked at, planned, and protected
before the season turns.

To every favourite customer who has trusted me with their place on the lake:
thank you.

Truly.
It has been a privilege to work in this beautiful community,
to care for the cottages that hold so many of your stories,
and to help keep them standing strong for the years still ahead.
With deep gratitude,
and looking forward to the seasons yet to come.

Legacy for the next generation

Someone built this cottage so you would have a place to come home to. 🏡💛

The question is simple: will the next ones inherit peeling fascia and tired siding or a place that still looks like Dorset at its best?

Paint-Rite Dorset has spent decades protecting that legacy. Interiors when the snow flies.

Exteriors when the weather still allows. Siding, trim, decks, boathouse doors, bunkies, railings — the unglamorous work that keeps history from rotting.

Look through town. Look from the lookout. Look from the water. Quality is not a slogan here. It is the way this village has lasted.
Do not let “next year” become three more winters on bare wood.

Call today. Let’s walk the property together.

Labour Day is close. The lake is still warm. The painting window for exteriors in Ontario is still open — but it will not stay open forever. Cooler nights are coming.9bab9e

If the south wall is chalking, the boathouse doors are peeling, or the deck has that grey, thirsty look… this is the week to book.
Paint-Rite Dorset can still get quality exterior work done while conditions are right, and we can schedule interiors for the quieter months. Decades on these lakes. No job out of our scope.
