If there are any local fishermen who are disposing of their old lobster rope before the beginning of this year's lobster season, I would be happy to reclaim it and keep it out of the landfill. As a token of my appreciation, I would be able to provide a gift of a woven lobster rope mat or basket in return. I can pick the lobster rope up at your location or you can drop it off by my greenhouse at 111 West Street in Donkin.

Libby Stoker-Lavelle and I have decided to use Eventbrite to make ticket sales for our events easier for guests (The tack on a small fee to the original $20 for the the use and ease of their service). The Wild Island Farm will be starting back at the Sydney Public Market this weekend at 222 Charlotte Street, Sydney from 10 am to 2 pm. We look forward to chatting with folks this weekend and maybe even sell a reclaimed lobster rope basket/mat or two.
