Another one done !

2 years ago this friend hired a “contractor “ to move her cottage and have it placed and brought back to life on her families land !

All he did was move the cottage without a permit, left it without a roof and jacked up 10’ in the air for 8 months ,Took all her money and ran .

It’s been 2 years of chasing this so called “ contractor “ with lawyers , trying to save up her money again and getting the right people in her corner .

All she wanted was a place to relax with her children and he stole that from her BUT her community is standing behind her now and doing as much as we can to get this place safe , warm and ready to enjoy in the very near future!

This kind of stuff happens a lot so please do your research on anyone you hire ! It’s ok to ask for insurance information, it’s ok to ask for advice from other contractors if something feels off .

Today we brought in Melissa’s aunt to help us clean up and let’s be honest, to keep track of our tools 😅😅😅

2 days for rough-in and service completed !

Us ladies are truly kicking some serious ass 😜🤟🏻

This is happening here in Moncton as well !

We’re starting to hear some horror stories amongst us contractors !

Please be careful when hiring anyone for wrk around your home / business!

Ask questions , referrals and never give deposits.

I’ve always said pay me after a certain amount of wrk is done , then the rest with completion.

Another one completed ☑️
And this one means a lot to me .

I was asked to price this job last year not knowing who it was for , just a name attached to a email address.

Give it an honest number and waited for approval or not

Person asks if we could meet up to discuss the build so me being me said yup meet us at Sportsrock for a cold one to discuss 😂

A lady walks in and says oh my husband will be right in , I think nothing of it and continue chatting .

Couple minutes later a man walks in towards us but it’s my buddy , someone I’ve known since the first day in the trade .

I’m kinda confused and said is this your wife ?! , they both start laughing and said yes and I’m still confused and said why didn’t you tell me it was you ?

Wife looked at me and said he asked me not to tell you bc we don’t want special treatment, we both wanted an honest number and you gave us that !

Being able to bring their forever home from paper to the finish product and knowing he’s known me from the beginning to now makes me very proud bc he seen me just walking in , not a clue to wtf i was walking into to now walking out with hugs , high 5 and some very happy friends !

Thank you for allowing us into your home and being able to create something special with you both .

Oh and fyi , this wife makes the absolute best boiled eggs 🥚 😅😅😅😅

Barbed Wire Electric LTD. What a great dash to the finish line 🤩🤩🤩
