Combination furnace install: endless hot water along with efficient heating for your home

Do you love your hot showers?

Make sure you’re regularly inspecting your hot water tank. A hot water tank failing when you need it the most is the last surprise you want to get.

This video is from a job we did recently. Notice what happens to the water when your tank is 17 years old and hasn’t been maintained!

Few important things to check during your regular hot water tank inspection:

1) AGE: Hot water tanks generally have a lifespan of 8-12 years. More frequent checks are needed if your tank is past this age.

2) COLOUR: Check the colour of the water when you turn your tap on hot. Rust-coloured water is never a good sign!

3) LEAKS: Look for water or dried mineral deposits in the tray at the bottom of the tank. Also, check the top of the unit to see if any of the pipes, valves or connections are leaking.

4) NOISES: Beware of rumbling or high-pitched whining sounds when you turn the water on or when it’s heating the water.

5) TEMPERATURE: Make sure the temperature is adjusted to just the right level so it produces enough hot water for your needs. If you find that you’re not getting as much hot water as you used to, it could be a sign that something is wrong with the tank.

Our jobs can vary from anything related to plumbing or heating to interior renovations in residential homes.

We are looking for versatile, motivated and reliable team players who take pride in their work.

Minimum requirements:
-Full time or part time
-Must be quick to learn and have attention to detail
-Must have basic knowledge in operating hand and power tools, such as Circ Saw, Table saw, miter saw, drill etc.
-Must have driver's license
-Must be healthy and able to lift heavy objects up to 25 Kg ( 50 lbs)
-Must have some experience in construction and basic carpentry

The following skills are preferred, but not required:
Demo

Framing

Insulation

Drywall

Paint

Flooring/tiling

Trim and doors

Window install

Minor plumbing and electrical

Cabinet and millwork install

Wages starting at $18/hour but negotiable depending on your skills and experience.
