A quick word on safe driving:
We have received several negative reviews relating to the driving of our fleet vehicles, which have unfortunately affected our Google rating. As a service-focused roofing company, we expect our employees to represent Continental Roofing professionally both on and off the job site, including when operating company vehicles.
To help prevent similar situations in the future, we have implemented several improvements. These include:
- Adding fleet vehicle safety training to our new-hire orientation for all employees who operate company vehicles.
- Upgrading our GPS fleet management system to alert management when company vehicles are speeding.
- Installing dash cameras throughout our fleet.
- Hiring a full-time certified mechanic and investing in a vehicle lift to ensure our fleet is properly maintained and safe.
- Strengthening our disciplinary policies regarding unsafe driving and irresponsible operation of company vehicles.
As a long-standing, family-owned roofing company, we take our reputation and our responsibility to the community very seriously. We are committed to continuously improving our safety standards and the professionalism of our team.
