Now here's a huge mistake we came across today during a service call, you may think this is installed correctly but this is the temperature and pressure relief valve for a water heater, it only works one way and this one is installed backwards. Had the controls failed on the water heater and the water continued to heat this water heater would have turned into a rocket and exploded. So if you ever wondering why the cheap Craigslist plumbers have better pricing than proper drainage and plumbing companies this is the reason why, they don't know what they're doing and they will put your life at risk. Don't go cheap, get a professional.
