Residential Snow Clearing Update

We reached our service trigger overnight, and light snow continues to fall across the area.

Our crews will be starting this morning with a tractor pass on driveways to remove the bulk of the accumulation and ensure access to properties. This initial pass is focused on opening up driveways while snowfall is still ongoing.

📱 Pre-arrival notifications will be sent to clients who subscribe to our SMS service, allowing time to remove vehicles from driveways prior to service.

Sidewalk and walkway crews will begin once snowfall has stopped, allowing them to complete a more thorough and lasting clean. Depending on conditions and timing, walkway service may extend into tomorrow.

Once snowfall has fully tapered off, we will return for a final clean-up pass on driveways, which is anticipated for tomorrow, to ensure a complete and tidy finish.

We will continue monitoring conditions throughout the day and will provide additional updates as needed.

Residential Snow Clearing Update

Our crews will be beginning residential snow clearing operations at 8:00 AM this morning, completing a full service pass on both driveways and walkways.

📱 Pre-arrival notifications will be sent to clients who subscribe to our SMS alert system. These alerts are intended to provide advance notice so vehicles can be moved and access areas cleared prior to our crews arriving.

To help ensure a safe and efficient operation, we kindly ask that vehicles parked on the street leave adequate space near driveways. This allows our equipment operators to safely maneuver and complete clearing without obstruction, helping us maintain consistent service across all properties.

Crews will be working through their routes methodically throughout the day to ensure all properties are addressed as thoroughly as possible.

Residential Snow Clearing Update

Over the past hour, snowfall accumulation has reached our 2" service trigger, with totals varying across different areas of the city due to localized bands of previaling winds

With current forecasts indicating that snowfall is expected to taper off within the next few hours, we have made the decision to hold off on dispatching crews at this time. While some areas have already reached serviceable levels, dispatching now would likely result in additional accumulation on freshly cleared surfaces.

By waiting until snowfall has ended, our goal is to complete one full and consistent clean-up pass across all properties, ensuring a cleaner finish and reducing the likelihood of residual snow compacting or turning to ice.

At this time, we anticipate crews will begin service at 8:00 AM on Saturday morning, completing a full pass on both driveways and walkways for those receiving these services. Crews will work through their routes methodically to ensure all properties are addressed as efficiently and thoroughly as possible.

📱 Our pre-arrival alert system will be activated to provide clients with advance notice, allowing sufficient time to move vehicles and clear access points prior to service.

Residential Snow Clearing Update

Light snowfall began just after 5:00 AM this morning, and our crews are currently monitoring conditions and forecasted accumulation as the system develops.

At this time, accumulation remains minimal. However, should we reach our 5 cm service trigger, we will schedule a full clean-up pass for Saturday to tidy up both driveways and walkways and ensure properties are left in good condition.

Our team will continue to monitor snowfall, accumulation rates, and overall conditions throughout the day to determine the most effective timing for service.

We will provide another update later this afternoon with a more concrete plan once conditions become clearer.
