Great advice!

Frozen or covered plumbing vents on your roof can also cause issues with how your drains work. Best to clear snow away from all vents on and around your home.

Let it snow! But don’t let the snow build up. If snow and ice accumulate on gas meters and furnace intakes/exhaust, it can cause gas leaks or produce deadly carbon monoxide fumes. Carefully clear snow from these areas using your hand or a broom.
