Sweet competition, sweeter cause.✨
In case you missed it, the Bake Off is back! The Great ECC Pie Bake Off 2026, running from September 8th until October 9th. Again, we are supporting a great cause, raising funds for Feed Nova Scotia For each pie entry we receive, we are pledging to donate $10 towards the fundraiser. In addition, bakers will once again be battling it out to have their shot at winning a brand new KitchenAid Mixer in their 2026 Colour of the Year, “Spearmint”! To enter, follow the steps below:
🥧 1: Bake a pie of your choice! Sweet or savoury, creative choices and flavour are up to YOU!
🥧 2: Drop off your entry between Monday-Friday from 8AM-4PM at 71 Ilsley Ave, Dartmouth NS during the weeks of the competition period (September 8th to October 9th, 2026).
🥧 3: A panel of four judges will sample your entry, and judge it based off the following categories: OVERALL FLAVOUR, TEXTURE, CREATIVITY, and PRESENTATION.
