🎉 Happy National Intern Day!

Today, we’re celebrating the talented interns who bring fresh perspectives, curiosity, and enthusiasm to our team every day.

From the office to the job site, our interns play an important role in the work we do while gaining hands-on experience, building new skills, and learning alongside industry professionals.

To celebrate, we asked a few of our interns to share what it’s like to be part of the Lindsay team. Hear their thoughts on their experience, what they’ve learned, and what makes working at Lindsay so rewarding.

Thank you to all of our interns for your hard work, dedication, and the energy you bring to our team. We’re proud to be part of your journey and can’t wait to see where your careers take you.

Today is a day to celebrate the people, communities, landscapes, and values that make Canada home for so many of us.

It is also an opportunity to reflect on our shared history, including the truths that have shaped our country and continue to call us toward learning, understanding, and reconciliation.

As we celebrate, may we do so with gratitude, humility, and a commitment to building a more inclusive and compassionate future for everyone who calls Canada home.

Happy Canada Day.

💙 Strong communities are built through strong partnerships.

We sat down with several of our community partners to learn more about the impact they’re making across Atlantic Canada. From supporting youth and families, to advancing healthcare, promoting workplace safety, and developing the next generation of skilled trades professionals, each organization plays an important role in strengthening our communities.

We’re proud to support the important work of First Tee, Make-A-Wish Canada, Chisholm Services for Children, Threads of Life, Skills Canada Nova Scotia, the Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation, and IWK Health.

Together, we’re helping create opportunities, build connections, and make a positive impact across Atlantic Canada.

Progress is taking shape at Foyer Père Fiset in Chéticamp, Cape Breton. 🏗️

This 66,000 sq. ft., 72-bed long-term care facility is designed with a central services level connected to the Sacred Heart Community Health Centre, along with three residential wings to support patient care.

Early work focused on site access, approvals, and coordination with neighbouring properties, including the church and hospital. Unique elements like relocating the helicopter pad and designing for coastal winds up to 250 km/h have helped shape the build.

We’ve remained closely connected to the community throughout, supporting local businesses, working with local suppliers, and welcoming visitors to site.

Currently on track for completion in Summer 2027.
