We just added another Ford F-250 to our snow operations fleet.

This truck will be fully equipped with a brand-new Fisher snow plow and a brand-new Fisher salt spreader, ready to handle snow and ice all winter long. 💪❄️

The new sidewalk was 6–8 inches above the old lawn. The w**ds were the only thing keeping up. 😅🌱

Here’s how our Merci Landscaping crew brought the lawn up to meet it:

✅ Cleared the w**ds and prepared the existing ground
✅ Set string lines to check the height and guide the grade
✅ Brought in 12 yards of screened loam from Elmsdale Landscaping
✅ Raised most of the lawn by about 6 inches, with a gradual slope along one side
✅ Spread and raked the soil smooth, then rolled it to firm up the surface
✅ Laid fresh-cut Kentucky bluegrass sod and rolled it for good contact with the soil

Now the lawn meets the new sidewalk with a smooth finish—and the w**ds have lost their spot. 👋

We took this property from overgrown to clean, sharp and completely refreshed.

🌲 Cut down & removed the large evergreen
🪚 Cut back and reshaped the mature trees
✂️ Trimmed and shaped the holly bush
💪 Pulled out heavy roots and unwanted growth
🚛 Loaded, hauled & dumped all the old material
🧹 Removed the old mulch and cleaned the beds
🖤 Installed heavy-duty commercial landscape fabric
📐 Installed vinyl edging with spikes and custom curves
🚚 Brought in loads of fresh black mulch

🌱 From Chinch Bug Damage to a Brand-New Kentucky Bluegrass Lawn!

This homeowner had been dealing with chinch bug damage, w**ds, and a tired lawn for years and had always wanted that thick, rich Kentucky Bluegrass look. There was also a large root ball in the middle of the lawn that had to be dealt with before we could rebuild it properly.

Instead of covering up the existing problems, Merci Landscaping started from the ground up. 💪🌱

🚜 Scraped out approximately 6 inches of the existing lawn/soil
🌳 Removed the old root ball and problem areas
🟫 Brought in approximately 18 yards of screened lawn soil
📐 Regraded and prepared the entire lawn
🌱 Installed fresh Kentucky Bluegrass sod
💧 Watered and rolled everything for good soil-to-root contact
🚜 And yes… our little Kubota definitely earned its keep on this one! 😅

The before-and-after says it all. 🔥 A damaged, uneven lawn turned into a fresh green yard that completely changes the front of the property.

Another repair underway for one of our valued customers! 👷‍♂️🔨

The existing concrete footing had sunk, causing the support post and gutter to drop. Because the gutter lost its proper slope, rainwater was no longer flowing toward the downspout.

Our team carefully jacked the structure back into position, removed the old concrete pad, poured a strong new concrete footing, and installed a new pressure-treated post. The structure is properly supported, and the gutter is draining correctly again! ✅
