Another update from the 2026 HRM Traffic Control Manual Supplement.

Although this section was removed in 2023 after additions to the Nova Scotia Temporary Workplace Traffic Control Manual, it is being reinserted so that HRM can clarify expectations for compliance with Rules 1.13 Signs – Duty to Remove Temporary Condition Signs and 1.17 Urban Signs of Section 13.3.

⚠ Did you know? The HRM Traffic Control Manual Supplement has been updated for 2026 and new traffic control compliance changes are in effect.

One of the changes includes the Duty to Remove Temporary Condition Signs. We encourage everyone in the industry to review the updates before the season kicks off!
