We got called recently to repair this old multi-zone system that had gone down due to severe lightning storms and power surges. We found the motherboard God damaged in the process. After trying to get this fixed for our customer and finding the parts are now obsolete. We decided the best thing to do was install a Multizone trane Ductless system with a surge protector. This is peace of mind. 10 year warranty on parts from a good reputable manufacturer.
