A local property owner has generously made some firewood available for anyone who can use it! The wood is stacked along the side of the highway in front of their property and is free for pickup on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you're planning to collect some, please do so safely:
✅ Pull completely off the roadway before stopping
✅ Load quickly and safely without blocking traffic
✅ Leave the area clean and respect the property owner's generosity

Meet Jonathan: climber of trees, fixer of things, mover of heavy stuff, and currently the Employee of the Month for the 14th month in a row.

Around here, “odd jobs” can mean anything from tree pruning and removals to yard repairs and handyman work. If it needs doing and nobody else wants to touch it, there’s a decent chance Jonathan ends up handling it.

Small business life isn’t glamorous, but it does keep things interesting.
