Looking forward to opening GRETA to Calgarians on Monday. We are quite happy to say that GRETA will be exceeding all the safety guidelines set forth by Alberta Health.
The leadership team at GRETA has spent the past several weeks researching what other countries are doing as well as participating in various restaurant groups/associations nationwide to keep not only our guests safe but even more importantly our teams/staff safe. We opened GRETA YEG very successfully last a Thursday and look forward to doing the same in Calgary.
We’re excited to re-open GRETA YYC on Monday and we’re proud that we will be able to lead by example in restoring consumer confidence in restaurants and bars.
Our goal will be to deliver an incredible guest experience while respecting, adhering and exceeding all mandatory government restrictions as well as all recommendations required/suggested for our businesses.
While there may be no video games to play, no bar service to enjoy or dance floor to show off your latest Til Tok moves on, we can still serve our delicious Global Street Food, including the GRETA Burger, make our tasty handcrafted cocktails, serve some of Alberta’s best craft beer, have our DJs play great music and ensure that our atmosphere is conducive to an enjoyable and safe evening for all who choose to visit.
If you would like to know more about the precautions we are taking please feel free to DM us. We’re incredibly proud of the lengths we are going in order to ensure a safe experience for all.
If you would like to join us, reservations are highly recommended by both GRETA and the government with the seating limitations so please send me us a message! Don’t forget we are limited to groups of 6 so if you plan on joining us please limit your group size to that number for the coming weeks.

Thursday - Sunday - 7pm till 2am
Curbside Pickup & Delivery will continue to start at 4pm on those dates.

Sometimes when a client asks you to fix up an antique you are actually better off doing almost nothing. This was her table as a young girl and after her mother passed it sat in a barn for a few years. Now moving to a smaller home, the client decided to see if it was worth keeping. We gave it a lot of elbow grease, a little glue and a bit of oil and it looks amazing now. So good we even saw a few tears of joy when we delivered it. It was a very good day!

Well, turns out Greta Bar is a hit with the little kids too, not just the big ones. Thankful they got to have a Family Day event so we could show everyone the finished product. That Walking Dead game is intense though! 🤣

Although we often ask our clients for feedback, our main goal is to always do so well with our actions that there is no need for words. In this industry, there will always be surprises and things that didn't come out just right, but how you deal with them and help move the customer forward with their goals says more about you than all the flashy business cards you could ever hand out.
