Finding a refrigerant leak can take a little detective work. 🕵️‍♂️🔧
Our techs can add a small amount of fluorescent dye to the system and run it so the dye travels with the refrigerant and oil. If refrigerant is escaping, the dye can leave a trace at the leak point. A UV light then makes the dye glow, helping us spot the area that needs a closer look in a fraction of the time.
Once the leak is located, we can recommend the right repair. These photos show the dye glowing under UV light during the inspection. 💡

🧺 **Tratech Tip: Don’t Forget the Dryer Vent!**

A clogged dryer vent can make your dryer work harder, increase drying time, and create a serious fire hazard.

Clean the lint screen after every load, and periodically check the vent outside while the dryer is running. You should feel a strong flow of warm air and see the exterior flap opening properly.

If clothes are taking longer than usual to dry, your vent may be due for a cleaning! ✅
