When it mattered, Kendra acted.
Earlier this week, a serious highway incident occurred near our Beaver Hill project in Glacier National Park after a semi-truck lost its brakes.
Kendra, our OFA Level 3 First Aid Attendant, was one of the first on scene.
She took control and performed lifesaving measures, including CPR and the use of an AED, until paramedics and air ambulance crews arrived.
Based on information received following the incident, Kendra’s quick response and lifesaving actions may have been critical to the person’s survival.
For Kendra, it was her first week on the job.
Training matters. Preparation matters. And when the moment comes, having good people who are willing and able to act matters most.
We’re incredibly proud of Kendra and grateful for the professionalism, courage and calm she showed when someone needed it most.
