This Thanksgiving, we’re feeling especially thankful for our staff. 🍂

We recently got everyone together for a team BBQ, and it was a great reminder of how lucky we are to work with such a hardworking, dedicated crew here in Powell River. From the office to the job site, they show up for our customers every single day, and we couldn’t do it without them.

Thank you, team. We appreciate you more than you know. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families!

Our Team Spotlight | Dave Eliason — Modern Windows

Some working relationships are built on contracts and timelines. This one was built on decades of friendship, shared adventures, and a whole lot of time spent in the great outdoors. 🎣

Dave Eliason founded Modern Windows right here in Courtenay back in 1990 — and for over 30 years, he and his team have been supplying Integra Homes with windows, gutters, garage doors, vinyl decking, and railing. The quality of their work speaks for itself in every home we build together.

But the story goes a little deeper than that. Dave and his wife Carla have been close friends with Bill and Candy for over 30 years — travelling together, spending time together, and building a friendship that long predates any business arrangement.
It's the kind of relationship that brings an extra layer of trust and care to every project.

When Dave isn't working, you'll find him hunting, fishing, camping, or exploring the outdoors with Carla — and keeping up with their 3 sons and 7 grandchildren along the way. A full life, well lived. 💛

We are so grateful for Dave's partnership, his craftsmanship, and the friendship that has made working together such a genuine pleasure.

⛳ Investing in the Future of Golf

We’re incredibly proud to be a major partner of the Myrtle Point Junior Golf Program.

Our sponsorship this year helped purchase junior golf equipment for young members to use, making it easier for more kids to get involved without having to purchase all their own equipment. Junior members will also receive a Modern bag tag when they sign up.

Pictured here are Ryan Brown, Club Pro & GM, and Bob Bogoslowski, Board Member and one of the leaders behind Junior Night. Both play a huge role in supporting the kids and growing the program.

This partnership is especially meaningful to us. Dave Craigen, a longtime family friend who passed away in 2023, was instrumental in helping bring junior golf to life at Myrtle Point years ago. Supporting the program today is a special way to help continue what he helped build.
