Located in one of the best regions in Ontario for maple syrup production, this project was designed as a fully functional sugar shack complete with the equipment and tank systems needed for the syrup-making process — all wrapped in a warm rustic timber frame design.

Some interior shots of one of our waterfront projects.

The massive window wall completely opens up the space and brings the outdoors right into the home. Paired with the heavy timber details, warm wood ceilings, and open concept layout, this space was designed to feel bright, welcoming, and connected.

One of my favourite parts about designing spaces like this is knowing they become the heart of the home — where everyone gathers after a day on the lake, where family dinners happen, and where memories will be made for years to come.

Barn rebuild!

Absolutely stunning renderings from one of our current waterfront projects. We’re finalizing the design phase and working closely with the Township through preliminary approvals. Building on an island property comes with a unique set of considerations, but seeing this vision begin to take shape makes the process incredibly exciting.

Our first step in the design process is gaining a clear understanding of our clients’ vision, lifestyle needs, and overall budget. From there, we develop a preliminary concept sketch that lays the foundation for the entire project. Once the design direction is established, we’re able to bring the home to life through detailed architectural renderings like these.

Incredible progress rebuilding this 5,000 square foot barn! The timber frame now stands tall, awaiting the installation of the Douglas Fir siding and ceiling finishes. A project like this is a true blend of craftsmanship, engineering, and vision — excited to see it come together piece by piece.
