Annuals add a splash of color to the garden all season long.

Save money this year by planning ahead and spending money on smaller high-quality plants from your local garden center like in Cochrane. This method keeps your planters blooming longer because their roots have room to fill the planter. By August, when other planters are looking sad, yours will be growing strong.

This specific garden was a patio surrounded by weeds in Calgary. With a new deck, this space was underused. We came in, reclaimed the brick, and made a smaller patio for sitting.
The space, with added natural stone walkways, a fountain for birds and beds now filled with low-maintenance drought-tolerant shrubs and flowers, has become a haven in the center of the city.
