📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE – COCHRANE BIN RENTAL PRICING UPDATE

Effective September 1, 2026, due to updated tipping fees at the Cochrane landfill, we will be adjusting our Cochrane roll-off bin rental rates.

This adjustment is necessary to help offset the increased disposal costs while allowing us to continue providing reliable local bin rental service.

Updated Cochrane Pricing
8 Yard Bin – $465.00
10 Yard Bin – $510.00
12 Yard Bin – $555.00
Additional Dump Trips
8 Yard – $375.00 per trip
10 Yard – $395.00 per trip
12 Yard – $405.00 per trip

✅ Pricing includes up to 1 ton of waste.

Please note that if the total weight of the waste exceeds 1 ton, additional disposal charges will apply based on the excess weight and applicable landfill tipping fees.

🚨 Roll-Off Bin Service Notice 🚨

Please note that JKP Rickard’s Construction Inc. will be suspending our roll-off bin service from August 31st to September 4th 2026 while our truck undergoes it's annual routine maintenance.

Regular roll-off bin service will resume following the maintenance period.

Project Complete at Kesagami Wilderness Lodge! 💪🔨

Our team has officially completed the demolition work at Kesagami Wilderness Lodge.

This was a very hands-on and manually intensive project, and the horseflies and mosquitoes were especially bad this year - but our crew worked together, pushed through the conditions, and got the job done safely and efficiently.

We are proud of the hard work, teamwork, and dedication shown by the guys from start to finish.

A big thank you to Kesagami Wilderness Lodge for trusting JKP Rickard’s Construction Inc. with this project. We truly appreciate the opportunity and look forward to working together again on future projects!

Today, the JKP team took to the skies and flew out to Kesagami Lake to assist Kesagami Wilderness Lodge with an important and challenging project: completing the demolition of the collapsed main lodge.

This is not your everyday jobsite. Remote location, limited access, and a structure with a lot of history behind it all make this a unique project for our crew. Our team is proud to be part of the effort to safely clear the way and help move this iconic northern destination toward its next chapter.

A big thank-you to Kesagami Wilderness Lodge for trusting JKP Rickard’s Construction Inc. to be part of the work. We’re looking forward to sharing more from this one-of-a-kind project as it unfolds.

JOB POSTING:
Seasonal Driver – Roll-Off Bin Division
JKP Rickard’s Construction Inc.

JKP Rickard’s Construction Inc. is currently seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Driver to join our Roll-Off Bin Division.

This position is ideal for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable operating equipment while providing professional service to customers.

Position Type: Seasonal

Availability: April to November, weather permitting

Responsibilities:

Deliver and pick up roll-off bins at customer locations
Safely operate truck and bin equipment
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Ensure bins are placed and removed safely without damage to property
Maintain cleanliness and basic care of truck and equipment
Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch
Follow all company safety procedures and transportation regulations

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s licence
Experience operating trucks and trailers preferred
Ability to work independently and responsibly
Strong attention to safety and safe driving practices
Good communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of the local area is an asset
Must be dependable and punctual

What We’re Looking For:

A positive attitude
Strong work ethic
Willingness to work flexible hours during the busy season
Ability to represent the company in a professional manner
Ability to remove debris that may end up stuck in bin (up to 50lbs)
