Last week I had to diagnose an issue in a house where power to the entire house was being cut out for 15 minutes at a time after the carpet cleaning machine was in use for 15 minutes. I checked the main service conductors, the buss bar in the panel, the main breaker.... and it was a restrictor applied to that property from the electric supply company. The house sat vacant for a period of time with the utilies being registered to nobody and so a limiter of 15 amps for 15 minutes was applied to the entire house. This will also happen if you don't pay your bills! They leave you enough power to run the furnace so you wont freeze to death, how kind! ❄️💀
